Aerospace supplier Marotta Controls achieved a production milestone in February 2025 by delivering its 50,000th CoRe Series solenoid valve to Rocket Lab. The reusable valves, derived from 1960s space exploration technology, are critical components in Rocket Lab’s Neutron medium-lift launch vehicle. Since 2020, Marotta has expanded its CoRe product line to 14 base models with custom variants, supporting rapid innovation in commercial space systems. With annual production growing over 25% yearly, the company plans to ship 20,000 units in 2025, leveraging automated manufacturing and skilled technician training to meet surging demand for reliable space propulsion components .
